The EasyWeb Deployment Framework describes and supports the activities associated with ensuring that the IS product is available for targeted organization and its end users
The approach of Ark IT in deployment is Flexible. Deployment of EasyWeb based IS comes as a cloud-based or hosted solution. In case of Cloud deployment, the infrastructure resources are provided by Ark IT Cloud, otherwise, in hosted solution case, the infrastructure resources are responsibility of the Organization itself. However, in both cases it is offered as a managed service from Ark IT, especially for the software part.
The EasyWeb Deployment Framework approach does not exclude the traditional solution of deployment of IS in a common Client-Server architecture, however the emphasises is given in Cloud featured deployments with three options:
1- Deployment in OpenStack Ark IT Cloud, where IS platform is provided and managed by Ark IT and the organization consumes infrastructure resources as a service (IaaS), Platform itself as a service (PaaS), and all enabled and integrated software as a service (SaaS)
2- Deployment in a Private OpenStack Cloud at targeted organization premises. In this case Ark IT prepares the working environment for the IS and optionally offers cloud administration and management services on top of IS software services. The targeted organization has the flexibility to chose the extend of services to be provided by Ark IT.
In both above cases, OpenStack is used as a cloud environment, but in terms EasyWeb deployment framework it is considered just as another Operating System.
3- Deployment in a public cloud, which is not necessary OpenStack. In this case Ark IT prepares the working environment for the IS and optionally offers cloud administration and management services on top of IS software services. The targeted organization has the flexibility to chose the extend of services to be provided by Ark IT.
Information System Deployment and Managed Services
